The Harper Advocate Harper County Thursday September 20, 1928 Walker--Dewitte. A very pretty wedding occurred Saturday evening, Sept. 15th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Walker when their eldest daughter, Miss Addie was united in marriage to Mr. Philip DEWITTE of Fredonia, Kans. Rev. Hughes of the Methodist church performed the ceremony. The groom is the son of Mrs. Bertha Dewitte of Fredonia, but has been employed here with the H.C. Dryden Produce Co. for the past few months. The bride is well known in Harper, having attended the Harper schools where she has made many friends. Following the wedding a delicious two-course dinner was served to the immediate family and the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. J.E. WALKER of Attica, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben WALKER, of Fairview, Okla., and Miss Virginia WALKER. Mr. and Mrs. Walker will make their home in Harper.
