The Valley Falls New Era Jefferson County Thursday September 8, 1910 S.T. Butner Dead. S.T. BUTNER, formerly of Valley Falls, died at his home at Highland, Doniphan County, Kansas, September 1st, after a lingering illness. HE was 68 years old He is the father of Mrs. Wm. G. HAUCK of Valley Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Hauck attended the funeral at Highland last Firday, Mrs. Hauck remaining there this week. Mr. Butner with his family came to Valley Falls in the early 90's form Arkansas and lived here a number of years, a good and respected citizen.
