The Harper Advocate Harper County Thursday September 20, 1928 Knowles--Hunter. In the presence of a small group of intimate friends, Miss Frances Fenton KNOWLES, daughter of Mrs. Effie S. Knowles, 99 North Madison Ave., became the bride of Robert Raymon HUNTER of Enid, Okla., last evening, September 11th. Rev. George B. Cliff, assistant pastor of First Methodist Church read the service at the home of the bride's mother. The bride, who was unattended, wore a frock of blue Maline and carried a bouquet of sweet peas. The bride is a graduate of Orton School for Girls and of the University of California at Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Hunter left for Enid where Mr. Hunter is in business and where they will live.--Pasadena (Calif.) Star-News. Both Mr. and Mrs. Hunter are well known here, Mrs. Hunter having lived here the great part of her life prior to moving to California, attending public schools and the Harper College for a number of years. Mr. Hunter is a the son of Mr. and Mrs. R.R. Hunter who reside in the Pilot Knob neighborhood. He attened the scholls here and was a graduate of the high schoold with the class of 1919. He was employed with the First National Bank of this icty prior to moving to Enid. Both these young people have the best wishes of their many friends.
