The Washington Republican-Register Washington County Friday June 8, 1906 Frankie McCLEARY, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J.F. McCLEARY passed away to rest May 30th, after a lingering illness of four months, aged 3 years, 10 months and 4 days. Rev. Fitzsimmons conducted the funeral services which were held at the home, after which the little white casket which contained all that remained of the attractive and loving child was taken to Reiter cemetery where kind ones had made the last resting place beautiful to receive that which we longed to keep and could not retain, and the mound of earth was left a mound of flowers which in life he loved so well. He is gone and his suffering is o'er. All that loving parents and fond brothers could do was done, never once relaxing or tiring till God had taken back that which he gave. He leaves father, mother, and two brothers, young men, who deeply mourn the loss of the little one. The family returns thanks to the kind neighbors and friends who assisted them and for the beautiful floral tributes, and to the little children for their kindly remembrances during his long illness.
