The Washington Register Washington County Thursday January 14, 1904 Clara Belle HAWORTH, daughter of John and Louise Haworth, was born January 8, 1865 and died January 9, 1904, aged thirty-nine years and one day. She wa married to Asa DARBY September 2, 1887. Three children were born to this union. At the age of sixteen she was converted, having been brought up in the society of friends. In 1895 she united with the M.E. church at Morrowville and remained to the end a devoted, consistent, and faithful member. Mrs. Darby had been sick about two years and was confined to her home for the past three months. She was patient in her sufferings and cheerful to the last. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church at Morrowville, Sunday, at three p.m., conducted by Rev. E.O. JOHNSON. The funeral sermon was preached from Hebrews 6:18-19. A large number of sympathizing friends were present to show their love and respect.
