The Holton Signal Jackson County Thursday May 11, 1922 Edward Kennedy. This community was saddened on Thursday evening, when it was learned that Edward KENNEDY had passed away. After an illness of a few days when all that loving hands could do for him was done, he was called to his eternal home. He was a very affectionate child and will be sadly missed in the home and in the home of his grandmother, where he was born and where he died. Edward Ambrose Kennedy was born January 20, 1912, and died on April 27, at the age of 10 years. He was the third son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kennedy. Besides the parents, he is survived by four brothers, grandmother, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as a host of friends. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from St. Dominic's church at Holton by Father O'Neill. Amid profusion of flowers and friends his remains were tenderly laid to rest in Mt.Calvary cemetery.
