The Holton Weekly Signal Jackson County Wednesday December 3, 1890 Last week we recorded the death of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. MANUEL's two youngest children of membranous croup, and the serious illness of their remaining child, little Iva Myrtle, aged 4 years, 10 months and 12 days, of the same disease. Little Iva only lived two days longer, dying Nov. 25, 1890. Evalina died on Nov. 22, aged 2 years 10 months and 11 days, and Roscoe C., aged 1 year, 4 months and 20 days, died Nov. 23, thus robbing the household of its little ones in four days.
