The Holton Signal Jackson County Thursday May 4, 1922 Mrs. O.D. Benton Dead. The body of Mrs. O.D. BENTON who died in Los Angeles, was brought to Holton, Monday for burial. Mrs. Benton died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ethel ESPE in Los Angeles. Burial was in the Holton cemetery beside her husband who died nine years ago. The Bentons lived in Holton for a great many years. Since the death of her husband Mrs. Benton has made her home with her daughter. She is survived by the following children, E.L.(I.?) Benton, Cleveland, O., Atwell Benton, and Mrs. Ethel Espe, Los Angeles, and Oliver Benton, Shawnee, Okla. Mrs. Benton was 71 years old at the time of death.
