    3. The Holton Signal Jackson County Thurday May 11, 1922 Fernkopf--Miller. On Thursday evening, May 4th, at the home of the bride's parents, five miles west of Holton, the marriage of Pearle L. FERNKOPF to George V. MILLER took place. The ritual was read by Rev. G.F. Barthel of the Evangelical church. The ring ceremony was used. The wedding took place in the presence of about 90 relatives and friends. The bride chose for her maid, Blanche Hood, while the groom was accompanied by Mr. Phillip Fernkopf, brother of the bride. The wedding march was played by Miss Daisy Fernkopf. The gifts were numerous and beautiful. Following the ceremony, hearty congratulations were extended by the many friends. After a period of social fellowship, a tasty luncheon was served. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fernkopf. She was born and reared west of Holton. She is a graduate of the county schools and finished the course in the Holton High school with the class of 21 tkaing the valedictorian honors.
