The Thomas County Democrat Thomas County Thursday October 28, 1886 Died: At his home in this city, on the 25th day of October, '86, Alexander COLWES, aged 30 years, of consumption. Mr. Colwes was born in Chicage, Dec. 15th, 1855. He removed to Missouri and from there to Kansas in 1885. He has been a patient uncomplaining sufferer ever since his arrival here. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and went to his rest filled with a hope of immortal life. He was buried on Sunday last, the Rev. VanEman conducting the services.
