The Harper Advocate Harper County Thursday November 1, 1928 Plank--Book. News has been received of the marriage of Mr. Cecil PLANK of Abilene, Kans. to Miss Gladys BOOK of Hope, Kans. The wedding ceremony occured at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Paul ERB of Hesson, Kans., on October 18, 1928 at 10:30 a.m. The bride was very becomingly dressed in white satin and crepe and carried a bouquet of white chrysantheumums. The chosen attendants of the bride and groom were: Miss Grace Plank, a sister of the groom and Mr. Chester Book, a brother of the bride. Mrs. Plank is the daughter of A.L. Book, and is a talented young lady held in high esteem by her many friends. Mr. Plank was formerly of this city, being the son of Mr. and Mrs. P.G. Plank, but for the past several years has been engaged in work in Dickinson county, Kans., where he has made many friends. After the wedding Mr. and Mrs. Plank left for Harper, Kansas to make a visit with the groom's parents, aldo relatives and friends, prior to leaving for California where they will spend the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Plank have many friends and acquaintances who wish them the best life has to offer in the happy years to follow.
