    1. [KS-OLD-NEWSPAPERS] Tin Wedding: TAGGART
    2. Jim Laird
    3. The Valley Falls New Era Jefferson County Thursday October 13, 1910 Tin Wedding. Mr. and Mrs. W.E. TAGGART at their home north of Meriden, very pleasantly entertained forty friends and relatives last Saturday evening, the occasion being the celebrationof their tenth anniversary. The house was beautifully decorated with autumn leaves and flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Taggart were the recipents of many useful pieces of tinware. Music and merry words of conversation were the prevailing features of the evening's entertainment. A two course luncheon was served in the late evening, after which for some unapparent reason every one present seemed to be "taking cold," but the cause of the disturbance was finally traced to two mischievous boys, who had managed to scatter some make'em sneeze powder around. At a late hour all departed wishing that Mr. and Mrs. Taggart may have many more happy anniversaries. Those present from abroad were Mr. and Mrs. S.S. MYERS of Topeka, Mr. and Mrs. Bert BRADLEY, Miss Anna WHYLER and Miss Maude Taggart of Valley Falls.
