    3. The Topeka Daily State Journal Monday July 14, 1919 Deaths and Funerals. The funeral of E.L. FORSYTH, a Civil war veteran who died Saturay, will be held from Bomgardner's chapel at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning. The body will be sent to Lincoln, Ill., for interment. Forsyth was born in New York state, August 12, 1842. He enlisted in the federal army at Lincoln, Ill., in 1862, and served until the end of the Civil war under General Sherman. In 1867 he married Eleanor BEACH, at Linoln, Ill., and she and one son, Ed L. Forsyth, of Needles, Calif., survive. The family moved to Kansas in 1880. The funeral of Miss Mary SCHOENHELD, who died Saturday at a local hospital, was held Monday morning at 8 o'clock from the St. Joseph Catholic church. Burial in Mt. Calvary cemetery. The funeral of Miss Grace ROLLER, who died July 11, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial in Topeka cemetery. The funeral of Samuel JENKINS, age 77, who died Sunday at his home on route 26, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from St. John's A.M.E. church. Burial in Mt. Auburn cemetery. The funeral of Mattie Margaret RASMUS, age 9, who died July 14 at her home, the Reid hotel, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery. Ray WESTFALL and Wife Mary WESTFALL were drowned Sunday at Wakarusa. Funeral announcements later. The funeral of Mrs. Mabel FORTE, age 35, who died Saturday at her residence, 2011 West Tenth street will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial in Big Springs. Mrs. Minnie JONES, age 72, died Monday morning at her home, 1309 Quincy street. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon from the residence at 2:30 o'clock. Burial in Oskaloosa.
