The Topeka Daily State Journal Thursday July 24, 1919 Deaths and Funerals. The funeral of W.S. OWEN, a brother of Mrs. C.F. FLETCHER, of Topeka, who died at his home in Denver, Colo., this week, will be held from the Fletcher home, 920 Buchanan street, at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Topeka cemetery. He is survived by two brothers, and four sisters. They are Augusta L. Owen, and J.R. OWEN, of Denver; Mrs. C.E. WERST of Seattle, Wash.; J.W. OWEN, Winchester, Kan.; John CRITES, of Garfield Place, Topeka, and Mrs. Fletcher. The funeral of Mrs. Bessie SWEETS, age 46, who died in Pueblo, Colo., July 24, will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial in Valencia. The funeral of Layman Richard BURROW, the 9-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Burrow, who died Wednesday in Big Springs, was held Thursday morning from the home. Burial in Big Springs cemetery. Mrs. Mary L. MORAN, age 48, of 1049 Boswell, died Wednesday night. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Shiloh Baptist church. The remains will be sent to Frankfort, Kan., for burial.
