    3. The Item Linn County Friday October 4, 1895 Marriage Bells. On Sunday, Sept. 29, at 7 o'clock p.m., at the residence of the bride's parents, Miss Stella WOOD and Samuel TUCKER--Rev. Pulliam officiating. The immediate relatives were the only ones present. A number of presents were received, among them a coffey pot valued $1,800.00 from J.W Tucker. The coffepot contained the deed for ninety acres of land. The Item extends congratulations to the newly married couple and trust that thier lives may be ever crowned with success and happiness.

    3. The Item Linn County Friday October 4, 1895 The little son of Sam and Eliza HAYES, died about 9 o'clock a.m. Monday morning. The remains were interred in the Pleasanton cemetery.

    3. The Colby Free Press Thomas County Thursday June 8, 1916 Mrs. C.W. Young. Just as we were going to press last week we received the sad news of the death of Mrs. C.W. YOUNG, of Rovohl. She had been ill for several months and passed away on May 31, 1916. Her death was a terrible shock to her family and friends. She was born and raised in Illinois where at Knoxville, September 4, 1881, she married C.W. Young. To this union was born four children, one dead and three living. Rev. Weinland of this city assisted by the Salem choir conducted the service at the home where a large concourse of friends met to pay their last respects to a true friend and neighbor. Services were also held in this ciyt by Rev. Weinland at the Methodist church where a large crowd packed the church in a last tribute to a noble woman and friend. She was dearly loved by her family and her neighbors. The Press joins with friends in sympathy to the heart broken family.
