Wherever the deceased had lived, she has always had a wide circle of friends who have held her in the highest esteem. She was always a generous, wise and helpful neighbor. Her life has been above reproach. In hardship and trouble, she held steadfastly to the principles of right, holding virtue and honor above price. She gave her children the finest heritages of all, clean birth and instruction in how to live right. With ostentation she has filled the mission of mother, making any sacrifice gladly, for the good of her children. It can be truthfully be said of her, "Even her failings, leaned to virtue's side."
