BEAZELL, this township, was a scene of happiness and gayety on Wedneday evening, the occasion being the marriage of Miss Helen B. DILLARD, sister of Mrs. Beazell, to Mr. A.C. HINDE, of Coffee county. Rev. S.J. Heaton performed the ceremony. The happy couple will make their home in Coffee county.
The Washington Register Washington County Thursday January 19, 1905 On January 9, 1905, occurred the death of Mrs. Gertrude Roberts BOBBITT, age 29 years, 6 months and 6 days. She was married to F.H. Bobbitt April 15, 1896. During her last illness Mrs. Bobbitt received kindly ministrations from friends in prayer and song as well as in bodily comfort making her last hours as pleasant as possible. She left a bright testimony of her acceptance with God and assurance of a heavenly home. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Strickler at the M.P. church on Wednesday. Deceased leaves a husband, four small children and a host of friends to mourn her untimely death. --Clipper.

MUNCH, Dwight, Kans., Sunday, December 25th, at 6 o'clock, p.m., in which Mr. William NEW of this city and Miss Clara MUNCH of Dwight were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. Potter of Parkerville, Kans., officiating. Mr. William Munch, of Kansas city, acted as grooms man and Miss Bertha New of this city, as brides maid. After the ceremony they were invited to the dining room where a bountiful supper of two courses was served. Mr. New will bring new bride home where both will receive a hearty welcome as the bride is also well known here. NATION, their daughter, Luella and Mr. Gilbert E. SMITH, by the Rev. Smith, grandfather of the groom. A small wedding party consisting of the immediate relatives witnessed the ceremony. The young couple received the congratulations of those present after which the guests sat down to a well prepared dinner which all seemed to enjoy. Ephrian BADGER, a well to do farmer living east of Clyde and Miss Hattie McKAY of Concordia were united in marriage at the home of the latter in that city, Saturday evening, December 17th, at 8 o'clock. Probate Judge Smith performed the ceremony. They will reside in Ames until spring when they will move to Mr. Badger's farm. May success be theirs.
