The Oskaloosa Times Jefferson County Friday March 16, 1900 Miss SHULTZ, a daughter of Adam Shultz, living east of town, died of tuberculosis Wednesday. Funeral services were held at the U.B. church, Thursday. The young lady had been an invalid for some years. (McLouth.)

The Barnes Chief Washington County Thursday January 6, 1921 Mr. and Mrs. Fred JOHNSON are sorrowing over the death of an infant son that was born to them Monday morning at two o'clock. He lived only a few minutes and on Tuesday the little body was laid to rest in the Chepstow cemetery. He had been names Frederick Ewing Johnson. The young parents have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.

He was shooting at something, when the gun missed fire, and while hold it it exploded, making a fatal wound in this breast.
The Barnes Chief Washington County Thursday October 14, 1920 Robert Marion WILKINSON was born at Boone county, Illinois December 25, 1865 and died at Blue Rapids, October 1, 1920 at the age of 56 years, 9 months. He was married to Agnes CLARK April 6, 1891. To This union were born five children, three boys and two girls. He has been in poor health for the past two years having a stroke of apoplexy. Since his boyhood days he has been a member of the M.E. church and has always been interested in the cause of Christ. He is survived by his his wife, five children, three sisters and four brothers. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church Saturday afternoon and interment made in the Blue Rapids cemetery.--Republican Register.

The Oskaloosa Times Jefferson County Friday March 2, 1900 Obituary--Huey. Died February 24th, 1900, at her home in Oskaloosa, Mrs. Jennie HUEY, aged 55 years. Jennie DICKEY was born at New London, Chester Co., Penn., on April 1st, 1845. On November 10th, 1870, she was married to J.K. HUEY, at the home of her father in New London, Pa. They moved to Kansas a number of years ago and have resided in this state ever since. Mrs. Huey leaves a husband, three sons, and two daughters, all grown, and a host of friends to mourn her loss. The remains were taken to Atchison for interment. The sympathy of the community is extended to the sorrowing relatives.
