The Holton Weekly Signal Jackson County Wednesday March 19, 1890 Miss Maud BEIGHTLE, died last Tuesday at her residence in Valley Falls from inflammation of the bowels after a week of terrible suffering. Her remains were taken to Circleville, Thursday for interment. The school Miss Maude attended was dismissed and the teacher and pupils in a body marched to the depot with the remains of their dead pupil and playmate.--Valley Falls New Era. The deceased was the daughter of John L. Beightle, formerly of this county, and The Signal extends to him its sympathy.

    3. The Carbondale Post Osage County Thursday December 3, 1914 Henry M. Turner Dead. Henry M. TURNER was born Nov. 24th, 1836, in Westfield, N.Y. In 1874 was united inmarriage to Amelia WELD of Meriden, Kansas. He united with the Baptist church soon after his marriage. Enlisted in the First Kansas Vol. Infantry in 1861, honorable discharge in 1865. Died, Nov. 29th, 1914, aged 78 years and five days at the home of his son, H. A. Turner at Carbondale, Kansas. He leaves three children, two sons and one daughter, one sister and one brother to mourn his loss. Short services were held at the home Monday at 11:30 a.m. From whence the remains were taken to the Glenwood church. Rev. Murry of Richland, the U.B. Pastor, conducted the funeral. Interment in the Ridgeway cemetery. Card of Thanks. We wish to thank the teachers and friends for their kindness and for the floral offerings. Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Turner and family.

WEULLER, an aged carpenter, died at the residence of John THOMPSON, in the south part of the city, last Sunday morning. He had no relatives living in this locality. Mr. Weuller was a quiet and good citizen. His funeral occurred yesterday.
