    3. The Carbondale Post Osage County Thursday November 4, 1915 Mr. C.P. MILLER and Miss Alice AERL were married in Topeka this morning. Mr. Miller is one of the substantial business men of Carbondale having been in business here for many years, where he has succeeded in building up a good business second to none in the county, and has been before the public all his life and in the town where he is known by all he is respected and honored by all who know him. Miss Aerl is a comparitve stranger to most people in this vicinity having lived here but a short two years but in that time she has moved through the hearts of all and made them captives bound to her by friendship silken cord. Mr. and Mrs. Miller will live at the Miller home on West Hill, where Mr. Miller has one of the finest and most modern homes in this community. The Post unites with the entire community in congratulations and best wishes for each unborn tomorrow that it may bring sunshine and gladness to each hour of each day of each week of each year of their wedded life.

    3. The Holton Weekly Signal Jackson County Wednesday April 23, 1890 Dr. Geo. W. ENGLAND's little daughter, Eva, was brought from Valley Falls and interred in the Holton cemetery last Saturday. This is the second time in a short period of days that the doctor and his wife have been called upon to follow the remains of a child to the grave. The deceased was a bright and promising little girl of two and a half years. This community sympathizes with the bereaved parents.

    3. The Holton Weekly Signal Jackson County Wednesday April 23, 1890 Married.--Thursday, April 10th, at the residence of Mr. W. BROWN, Mr. William TREZISE, of Adrian, and Miss Annie ANDRICH, of Avoca, by Rev. J. Trezise, of Lancaster. At 9:30 p.m. Miss Mary Trezise was seated at the organ and as she was playing the second measure of the wedding march the groom entered with his intended bride by his side and marched to the room where they were united in matrimony. After much joy and happiness and good success in life had been wished to the newly married couple by all who were present, they were seated. The bride was arrayed in a beautiful and tasteful costume, and the groom wore a handsome black. After supper the orchestra furnished very fine music and the young people engaged in dancing and merry making until a very late hour. There were more than one hundred guests present. The last carriage rolled away at 5 o'clock Friday morning. A Friend.

    3. The Carbondale Post Osage County Thursday March 11, 1915 Mrs. Emily Westgate. Another of the old timers of this community has passed away, Emily G. WESTGATE, widow of James M. Westgate, who was a Corporal Co. E., 134 Reg. Ohio, National Guards; died on the old home place south of Wakarusa, Saturday night, March 6th. Emily G. HUNTOON was born in Salisburg, N.H., in Jan. 1818, when 36 years of age was marrie dto Mr. Westgate coming to Kansas in 1867. Her lifeand peaceful end another proof of the reality of the religion she professed.

    3. The Carbondale Post Osage County Thursday February 25, 1915 A pretty home wedding was celebrated Saturday evening at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. J.D. DAVIES, when Ivalon Davies and Mr. William GIFFORD were united in holy wedlock by the Rev. Holt of Burlingame. Vera Wells the ring bearer. After congratulations, a two course supper was served by four of the brides friends. The night was stomry but sunshine reigned within and wll went off as merry as a marriage bell. They were the recipients of many handsome and useful presents. The bridal couple left Sunday morning for Emporia, they will be at home to their many friends March 15. (Pleasant Valley.)

FORD, of Carbondale, Kansas, were married at the home of the groom's aunt, Mrs. J.R. Campbell, at St. Joseph, Mo., on Dec. 23, 1914, Rev. Bolton, of the Baptist church officiating. The bride was beautifully dressed in blue messaline and carried white roses. They went to Carbondale for a few days, after which they returned to Soldier, where they will be at home to their many friends on Mr. King's farm after Jan. 15.
