I am looking for relatives of Frederick Kruger born in Mecklenburg in 1861. He would have come to the US soon after that (1862) with his parents Carl W and Frederica Steinberg. They settled first in New York State. Carl W. Krueger/Kruger was born in Germany August 25, 1828. Also his sisters name was Bertha Kruger, she was born in 1872 most likely in Wisconsin. I know she was married June 17, 1897 but I don't have a husbands name. I am a great grandchild of their sibling Charles W Kruger/Krueger was born in New York state August 15, 1866.
