He was born Dec. 24, 1934, in Logan, Iowa, to Paul and Elsie Kruger. Jerry retired from Hewlett-Packard and was a member of the HP Trap Team. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trap shooting and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael Kruger; and a sister, Barbara Sundermann. He is survived by two daughters, Mariann Mentzer of Loveland and Michelle Wardrip and husband Tybert of Hudson, Colo.; a son, Martin Kruger and wife Joanne of Placerville, Calif.; a sister, Catherine Sundermann and husband Elmer of Council Bluffs, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Resurrection Fellowship in Loveland.
