I want to determine which of the Meeker or McLeod County KRUGERs were related to my own gr-gr-grandmother Bertha KRUGER (1844-1924) who married Joachim SCHULTZ of Forest City in 1869. I suspect it was not the branch of your gr-grandfather Henry Lewis KRUGER. I've researched that branch extensively and there appears to be no connection. But since you are a descendant of Henry L. KRUGER, then you and I are still cousins, through Henry's wife Ida SCHULTZ who was a daughter of my Joachim SCHULTZ's brother Carl. If you do have any clues as to the origins of my Bertha KRUGER I would love to hear about it. And of course I would be happy to share with you what I have on your KRUGERs or on our common SCHULTZs.
