Probably no connection but my great grandmother was a Kruger. She was born in Hertzfeld, Prussia. Her parents were Christian Kruger (1811) and Wilhelmina Christina Friederike (nee Ebert) (1823) . They were both born in Prenzlau, Prussia.. They came to Australia in the "Peter Godeffery" on 10/8/1865 leaving from Hamberg. With them were their 3 children, August (5), Marie (10) (my great grandmother) and Carl (3).
