His brother's names was Pieter Hendrik. He told me that there has alwys been a Pieter Hendrik and Jan Adriaan in the family. He even went so far as to name my sister Janita Adriaana. He was born in the Far Northern Transvaal and lived on a farm. His father's name was Pieter Hendrik. I also tried to find the place Abertnager but no luck. I wondered if it may have been an old village in Prussia? After my mother died, I found a typed document (I will scan it in for you) that had the information about the Pieter Hendrik born in 1851.
