D.—The golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kraemer, who live in a beautiful country home, northeast of Parker, was observed during the week, when 60 relatives and close friends gathered to felicitate the couple and spend the happy day with them. Under the tall pine trees surrounding the house, an interesting service was held out-of-doors, which included the community singing, music and speeches as well as the christening of the honored couple’s only great-granddaughter, Jerrie Kay Koester, six-months-old daughter, of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Koester, of Sioux Falls. Children and their families with Mr. and Mrs. Kraemer on this happy occasion are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ideker, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Seubert, and Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Koester, all of Sioux Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Kraemer, Wood; Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Geide, Sioux Falls; Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Kraemer, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kraemer, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kraemer, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Arendt, all of Parker. An elaborate dinner was served at midday, the decorations being carried out in the golden colors, symbolic of the day observed. The guests enjoyed themselves out-of-doors during the delightful day and were served a sumptuous supper in the evening. Gifts appropriate for the day were left Mr. and Mrs. Kraemer by their children and grandchildren. Guests from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Zimmel and family, Theresa, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Voight, daughter and son, of Long Prairie, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Voight, also of Long Prairie; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Zimmel and Mrs. Amanda Voight, of Sioux Falls.
