Trinity Lutheran Church, Port Arthur, Texas, is celebrating it's Centennial Anniversary this year. Some of our projects require genealogy related information. We are working on a timeline and a general church history which will include biographies on some of our early members. Some names we need information on are: August Herman SASSE, Herman Otto Theodore KROHN, William Ben SCHREEB, and Carl W. KRAEMER. Any information would be helpful. Trinity Lutheran Church was organized October 22, 1899. Port Arthur, Texas was the Brainchild of Arthur Stilwell Railroad Builder out of Kansas City, MO. He built the Kansas City, Pittsburgh, and Gulf railroad from Kansas City to Port Arthur, completed in 1897. He also founded his dream city of Port Arthur in 1895. rthur in 1895.=20
