    3. Hi Marvin, I am also related to the south Louisiana Kramers. My great grandmother was Louisa Kramer. She was born in 1833 in Bavaria. She came to the US around 1848-53. She married 1.) Kihnel then 2.) Fred Lemke. They lived on Willow Street in Franklin, LA. Her obit states that she came to America with a large family, perhaps brothers, sisters or cousins. I think she was originally Lutheran, but she attended the Episcopal church in Franklin. Do you have Louisa among your relatives? What is the story of the founding of Kraemer, LA? Kay
