So far, I have not found any relatives at all in this line. Eva Kraemer was born around 1859 in Darmstadt, Germany, died 1917 in Mobile, Alabama. The current family has no knowledge of any of her relatives - parents or siblings. I did find an Eva Kraemer in the books Germans to America as having immigrated in 1882 from Hamburg port to New york. She is listed as single and 23 years old and from the area of Germany known as Hesse. I understand Darmstadt is in this region of Germany. The ship was Bohemia and arrived in New York 4 January 1882. However, I have no confirmation that this was my Ggrandmother. I understand there are many Kraemers in Louisiana, but don't know if my Ggrandmother is part of that family. If you know of an Eva Kraemer, I'd love to hear from you. Eva married August Streb in October, 1882 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama. They raised 8 children, Amelia, George, Joseph, Louis, Julia, Augustus, Anna (my grandmother) and Leo Streb. They owned a bakery in Mobile, AL. Does any of this sound familiar?

I have an Anna Marie Kraemer, born October 8, 1792. She was the daughter of John Jost (Joseph) Kraemer and Anna Marie Coconer (Gochenaur) (?). She was baptized at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster. John Jost was the brother of Frederica (Polly) Kraemer who married John Meyer/Myers of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Polly and John lived in the Bart area of Lancaster Co. This information was obtained from Amos "Hunter" Rineer. Jr. of April 1981 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. I believe it is available at the Mennonite Historical Society and perhaps also at the Lancaster County Historical Society in Lancaster.
