Hello KORNEGAY researchers, I am trying to determine if FRANCES ANN was a KORNEGAY she married Blaney WILLIAMS of Duplin County prior to 1847 and they divorced in Spring Court in 1856 in Wayne County, NC He married a Mary Catherine KORNEGAY who already had a son William J. KORNEGAY. Blaney WILLIAMS was a Farmer and Justice of the Peace. They settled in Sampson County, NC All three of these counties neighbor one another. Blaney Williams was the son of possibly JAMES WILLIAMS and _____________ and Grandson of ROBERT WILLIAMS and Mary HARPER WILLIAMS.
