Gayle - My records show a Fanny Ann Kornegay (no dates) born to David Kornegay (son of William Kornegay and Elizabeth Outlaw) and First Name Unknown (FNU) O'Daniel. The name Charity O'Daniel certainly does ring a bell though. I'll have to search some more through my stuff until I find it. Can't really help on the second question; obviosuly they were cousins but that covers a lot of terretory - especially in Duplin County!
