    3. EDNA K. HOLLAND Edna Kornegay Holland, 79, died late Friday night. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late George Robert and Metta Jean Martin Kornegay, wife of the late James "Jim" Raeford Holland and mother of the late Needham Robert "Bobby" Holland. She was a member of Brogden United Methodist Church where for many years she was the church organist. She was a former organist for the Salvation Army. She graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1939 and was formerly employed with the Goldsboro News-Argus, Wayne Memorial Hospital and Brogden Elementary School lunchroom. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11 a.m. at Calypso Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Kretzu officiating. Mrs. Holland is survived by her sons, Edward Carroll Holland and James Raeford Holland Jr., both of Goldsboro; two daughters and sons in-law, Betsy H. and Ralph Wells of Goldsboro, Judith H. (Judy) and Jan Price of Apex; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends Sunday evening from 7 to 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her daughter, Betsy Wells, 4338 U.S. 13 N., Goldsboro. Memorial contributions can be mad to Brogden United Methodist Church, 2918 U.S. U.S. 117, Dudley, 28333.
