The Zilphia Smith who wrote this will is actually Zilphia Uzzell b. January 18, 1836 d. May 18, 1888. She was d/o John M. Uzzell and Anna Smith. (I have their birth and death dates if you need them) Zilphia Uzzell married Matthew W. Smith b. Apr 22 1826 d. December 2, 1878 (They are both buried at Smith Farm, Wayne County.) They had 12 children, one being Zilphia Fanny Smith b. March 3, 1870 d. November 5, 1955. She married Joseph Fisher Kornegay b. June 27, 1855, s/o Henry Robert Kornegay b. May 26, 1823 and Jeanette Williams b. Jul 2 1824. The Matthew W. Smith Bible is in the US Gen Web Wayne County Archives.
