    1. [KORNEGAY] John Krenig [FWIW I'm carving him in stone today]
    2. Re: previous post I made 3-18-2008 Subj. John Krenig possible candidate for our immigrant ancestor. Guess what....while browsing thru my hard copies I discover that my TN cousin, Tabitha *Francis* Ward Waller also has this same John Krenig as our immigrant ancestor. Sooooo, much to my chagrin, I have to say, I am not worthy of the kudos I received in 2008, well maybe just a small amount [LOL!] for finding the document to validate her undocumented claim. I cannot believe I've had this for 20 + years and had it on my manually kept genealogy records, however it appears I had totally forgotten later when I went to computer genealogy program. I probably got side tracked with the erroneous claim circulating in cyberspace at the time that John George Hornigh was our Immigrant ancestor and accepted that as fact and just tucked poor John Krenig away and totally forgot about having him on my older records from the get-go. It is very interesting that Francis has: "Johan Krenig b: 1669 in the Upper Palatinate region of the Rhine Valley in Germany. He was a farmer and member of the Reform Church." Contrary to the LIST I have, his first name is spelled John, and it doesn't say anything about Upper Palatinate region of Rhine Valley. Wish I knew where Francis got this extra bit of info.? Anyway, I am today charging forth to enter him on my data-base, unless someone in the interim has found reason for doubt that I have not found. ~Kathlynn~

    3. OK you documented this name as the origin of our Kornegay line?
