I think the name DICKSON was assumed as she named one of her sons Dickson. She had Wyatt had 11 children and then he had 5 more children by second wife Mrs Francis (THOMAS) MADISON. So he had about 16 children in all, one of which was my great grandmother Martha Rebecca "Mattie" KORNEGAY. Pat Hoffman
