Note, in Sarah Glisson K.'s will, the writer, or someone, incorrectly listed her as a dau. She is a dau-in-law. She was the widow of John A. Kornegay, son of George Fisher K. I had a devil of a time unraveling this knot. There is a DEED in which George Fisher Kornegay deeds 225 Acres of land for the sum of $1.00 to MY SON John A. Kornegay. Deed Book 6, Duplin Co., page 209, 6 June 1835. This explains why he is not listed in the will of George Fisher Kornegay. I have found the gravesite and stone for Sarah (Roberts) Kornegay. b. Dec 22, 1813 d. March 5, 1888.( See land division of her father for proof she was a Roberts , and married to John A.K.) Others are buried there including Sarah's dau, Susan Margaret Kornegay.(my G. grandmother). If any one wants a copy of the deed, or a zerox of the gravestone, and directions to grave site, send me your snail mail address, and I'll send you a copy. Again, thanks for the response. Marguerite Whitley>> Double check: At the beginning of your letter, you said Sarah Glisson was the widow of John A. Kornegay and daughter-in-law of George Fisher Kornegay. Yet further down, you say that Sarah Roberts (b. 1813) married John A. Kornegay (who, according to my records was also b. 1813). Did you mean to say "Sarah Roberts" instead of "Sarah Glisson" at the beginning? Matt,
