[1st cousins Miller Kornegay & Nancy Ward married]. In your records search did you find any document that revealed the name of George Sr's first wife? Earlier researchers claim she was Mary Fisher and that is what everyone has carried forth to date, but it has been determined that no one has any documentation/proof. We all keep waiting for something to spring forth to validate this assumption based purely on the fact that the Fisher name was given as the middle name in several different descendant lines.
