Daniel's father was most likely Haywood Howell, and Daniel's siblings were Martha Jane Howell, b. 2/26/1831 (married Dudley KORNEGAY); Blaney Coor Howell, b. 1837 (married Rebecca Jane DENMARK) and died 11/23/1861 in CW; and William B. Howell, b. 1835 (married Anne E. McCULLEN). All were from Wayne Co. Daniel was a Mexican- American War vet, died in May 1864 at Spotsylvania Court House , VA. Charity Flowers Howell sister was Edith Flowers Casey. Be happy to share whatever info I have. > Sue in CA
