See what elections will do for you. :-) There was an old well in Goldsboro and the story goes they would spike the well around election time. This was when they were moving the town from Old Waynesborough to present day Goldsboro. That is nothing they actually burned down the OLD DOBBS County courthouse...So apparently politics has always been a touchy spot with folks. Not a lot has changed since 1841-2000 at least they did not argue over chads...
