    2. Gayle, to answer your question about the Joseph Solis. I have this note in the file under Abraham Kornegay, son of Capt. Jacob Kornegay. > A 9 May 1827 North Carolina Journal article stated that Joseph Sollis was executed for the Kornegay murder. He had been convicted 27 April 1827 in Superior Court, Duplin Co., NC. > Hope this is the answer you were looking for. It is apparent that if he was excuted that he was caught, whether by the Kornegay brothers, I don't know. Sue in CA
