    3. Ruth, Thank you so much for responding! William's child -- Elizabeth Kornegay -- is the one my line goes through. From the information I have, she was born around 1768 in Duplin county. She married Daniel Glisson around 1791 -- she was his second wife. Daniel was married to Sarah Herring first. Elizabeth died on October 10, 1834. Daniel Glisson's father Haywood Glisson and his mother was Susan Linda Taylor. I remember my great-grandmother, Daisy Susan Elizabeth Glisson who was married to Marcus Jones. Most of my ancestors came from North Carolina. Many are from Duplin, Johnston, Sampson, Wayne, Craven, and Mecklenburg Counties. I would love to visit Duplin County sometime and read all about my ancestors! I grew up in Fayetteville (Cumberland County) -- my Mom still lives there -- but didn't really get interested in genealogy until my husband moved us to Alaska. I try to gather information as I can -- I would love to put together a family history for Christmas for my mom -- it may be Christmas a couple of years from now, but sometime I would love to do that! -----Original Message----- From: Ruth Westbrook <o6t8l5jv@coastalnet.com> To: KORNEGAY-L@rootsweb.com <KORNEGAY-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Tuesday, January 20, 1998 2:11 AM Subject: Re: [KORNEGAY-L] Kornegay, Fisher, Outlaw, Whitfield >Brenda, I have some information on your Kornegay family - as >I too am researching the Kornegays (my husband's family) >If you can tell me more about your family -which one of William's >children and etc. maybe I also can fill in some blanks. > >I have been away from home for a few days and am behind in my >workk so it may be a few days before I cam get back to this info. > >I live in Duplin County NC where a lot of the Kornegay's, Outlaws, >Simmons and Gradys settled. > >Will get back to this as soon as I can - > >Ruth > > > > >At 09:39 PM 1/19/1998 -0900, you wrote: >>>>> > >Hi - My name is Brenda Kimble and I'm looking for information on my GGGGGGGrandparents -- George Kornegay and Mary Fisher. >From the information I have, George Kornegay came over with the Palatines with his family -- who were all killed by the Indians except him.
