This is Benny Huff. Below is the list of Palatines that I referenced in my earlier message. I have a book that lists over 12,000 Palatine emigrants. I have looked for patters of names on the list below and the lists in the book and have not found anything significant. I have double checked the spelling of the names but make no guarantees. The formatting did not copy correctly when I included the text in this message and I apologize for that. The following list was taken from a book on Kinston and Lenoir Counties. COMPOSITE LIST OF PALATINES WHO SETTLED IN NORTH CAROLINA AT THE SETTLEMENT OF NEW BERN IN 1709-10 The following list is not presented as an all-inclusive one. It represents a composite group made up from several different lists of persons identifying themselves or being identified by contemporary reports as palatines. The first spelling given (where a spelling appears in the first column) represents the form as given by a German source or listaker. Other forms appear in "Colonial Records of North Carolina" and in records of Craven and adjoining counties dating back to that period. Thirty-six of the names in the first column appear on a German list described as "Namen der erften Psalzer in Nord-Carolina in den Jahren 1709 and 1710.
