Sarah Glisson's father was the sherriff of Duplin county, member of The State House of Commons, and of the the State Senate for a period of more than thirty years. Sarah Whitfield was dau of Elizabeth Goodman and William Whitfield. George Fisher KORNEGAY and Sarah Glisson KORNEGAY's son was William B. KORNEGAY and Henry Robert KORNEGAY and probably others. Henry R. KORNEGAY was a baptist minister, clerk of Superior Court of Law for Duplin County in 1857, 1858 and 1863 and a prominent lawyer until his death about 1898. hope this adds to your information.
