Dear Cousins - I'm so sorry! I had unexpected company as soon as I walked in the door (don't you just hate that?) and I didn't get my changes loaded until after 7:30 EST. The stuff is there now. The "mystery" so to speak is in Luke's will. His brother (who obviously thought that Luke should have left him more than he did) contested the will . . . and lost. Sue Meinhart also sent me a fascinating bio on Ann Civil Kornegay and it's posted too. Sue, I can just close my eyes and imagine Ann havingher slaves row her down the river while she sat back unfer the awning of the boat. I've seen those rivers in Duplin and I can just see it happening. Can I interest y'all in something a little different? I manage another page that has it's own server and I've been working on a little chat program. I didn't write it, but I'm doing some experimenting in PERL programming. I modified it and loaded it on my server computer at work. Anyway, the chat capability is functional, but I haven't "turned it on" yet. Anyone interested in a chat session tomorrow night at say, 8:00 PM EST? I haven't published the link to anyone at the Joint Warfighting Center, but I can use our session as a test.
