Dear Cousins - I had 83 e-mail messages waiting for me tonight! Boy have we ever stirred things up. I think we all need to come to some sort of concensus about what Sheila has reported. All these years I thought we were Germans . . . and now we're Swiss instead. Robert's stuff seemed pretty convincing. Any other opinions or insights? I heard from Dr. Dallas Herring (Head of Duplin County Historical Society) this evening and he's still thinking the Kornegays are German Palatines but he doesn't have a researcher on site.
