I was able to join the DAR under Captain James OUTLAW, however, we had no proof he was actually a Captain so he is listed as soldier in the DAR records. Sometimes the folks in that area just called someone "Colonel" "Major" "Captain" as a nickname. Does anyone have the names of the parents for Charity HERRING wife of Owen O'Daniel? Thank you, Gayle
