Hi Lori, There are a couple errors on your great Granny, Edna Frances Stone. She was born on the 8th of March and she died in Beaumont, Jefferson Co., Texas. She had a heart attack at home in Colmesneil (she and Billy were sharing a house with Ricky) and she was taken first to the hospital in Woodville and then on to Beaumont. I have an extra death certificate if you would like it. Maxine gave me Edna's purse and it had a number of papers in it. A note about William Houston Kornegay. His death certificate says he was born in 1893 and his military records has that date. A military headstone was put up so it also has 1893. This has been talked about since he died. Aunt Geneva Kornegay Duffel wanted me to have another stone put up with the correct birth date.
