Pat Hoffman << eply-to: [email protected] To: [email protected] (Samuel) Jennifer: Hank Jones died recently, but he left a great research project in his books. The Palatine Migration to New York which chronicled the migration of a group of Germans from the Rhineland-Palatinate to England then to the Hudson Valley of NY (which looks like the Rhine.) in 1710. There are many of his books in libraries all over the place so keep looking for a copy. He was researching all the Palatine migration to Ireland, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. My interest is NY, so I bought a 2 vol. copy, but after I took my families out I gave it to our library. If you can't find a copy send me the questions and I will make a trip to the village, to get your answer..
