Records seem to indicate my line is thru George I, Jacob, Martin, John, Caleb F. R., Robert Lee, Ralph Lee, Robert Lee (me). I do not recognize the name Wallace and Verle Kornegay, however, I moved to the coast of NC when I was a teenager and didn't pay too much attention to the branches of my family until recently. About two years ago I began to research my line when I was transferred to Switzerland. I have been concentrating on the origin of the KORNEGAY name while in Europe and will resume my eastern NC research next year. My wife and I return to our home near Swansboro in December for a one-year furlough after nearly 8 years of missionary service in Africa, Central America and Europe.
