Nicodemus Kornegay Alice Goodson 1862-1933 1862-1904 seven sons and two daughters youngest son: Irving (born Feb.1, 1902) Married Mittie Mildred Merritt (born Sept 25,1910) died ( April 23, 1994 ) Still living They had three sons: The oldest : Ervin T.( Born March 16,1931) on August 5, 1956 married Juanita Goode ( born Dec. 13, 1933). They have lived in Blacksburg, Va. for many years. He is with Va. Tech. To then were born three girls: Daughter #1-- Susan Kornegay Hinson (born March 28, 1960 ) Divorced. Lives in Missouri. One daughter Brittany Michell Hinson (born Feb. 3, 1990) Daughter #2 Cindy Kornegay (born May 23, 1962) married Rexford Anson Waters (born Feb. 20, 19__). They lives in Burlington, NC. He is with Elon College. Twin girls---Heather Elease, and Kelly Kristine ( born Jan. 16, 1987) Twin boys--- Matthew Rexford and Bradford Anson (born July 29, 1988) Daughter #3 Jennifer Kornegay ( born Aug. 29, 1967) Single. She lives in Arlington, VA. Irvin's second son: Kenneth Ray (born Jan.3, 1933) On Aug. 26, 1957 married Betty Jean Trott ( of the Richlands Trotts). They have lived in Elizabethtown, NC for many years. He is retired from the Federal Gov. To then were born two sons. Son #1 Gregory Kornegay (single) and is an attorney in Wilmington, NC. Son #2 Jeffrey Trott Kornegay married Susan____________ and they have two children and live in Elizabethtown,NC. He works with Bladen County Community College. Son---Dusten Daughter--- Lauren Blake Irvin's third son: Nick Deens Kornegay (born April 26, 1934) on August 12, 1955 married Ida Rouse Fordham (born Aug. 5, 1935). They have lived in Kinston, NC for the past 38 years. He is self employed in the rental business. They have two children----one son and one daughter. Son : Nick Deens Kornegay,ll (born Nov. 23, 1959). On April 18, 1987 he married Leslie Ann Hinnent ( born Oct.27,1957). They also live in Kinston, NC. He is in business with his father. They have two sons. Nick Deens (Trey) Kornegay,lll ( born Dec. 15, 1990) Hunter Ryan Kornegay (born Dec. 26, 1993) Daughter: Ida Jo Kornegay (born Nov, 14,1964). She is single and lives in Greensboro and works for the Allamance County Mental Health Dept.
